Satin Spar sphere with Buddha face carving, measuring approx 56mm. A variety of Gypsum that is often mislabelled as Selenite. It is very closely related as they are chemically the same but crystalise in different ways. Satin Spar forms in white fibrous masses, whereas Selenite forms in clear plates.
