Purple Mica with Orange Calcite sphere, measuring approx 53mm. The orange matrix is Calcite and most commonly grows with purple Mica. The purple colour comes from Manganese, or sometimes Lithium, which is known for treating mood disorders such as depression and anxiety. Mica is the name for a group of shiny, sheet minerals, including Lepidolite, Fuchsite, Muscovite and many more. Often seen growing with other minerals such as Tourmaline and Aquamarine.
